​SHANE  DUCKWORTH​

Shane Duckworth is a Emmy nominated Director of Photography for his work on PBS Vicious Season 2 - NYC Pride March promo. He brings over 10 years of film production experience and an eye for dynamic, beautiful imagery.

 

Shane Duckworth has been working in the Film industry since graduating from the College of Santa Fe in 2005, with a degree in Moving Image Arts. There, he focused his studies on Cinematography and Directing.

 In 2006, Shane co-directed his first feature film, Without A Crowd. Without A Crowd won Shane and co-director Andrew Menan Best Young Filmmaker at The International Youth Festival and Best of Fest at The International Ireland Film Festival,  both in 2010. In April 2012, Without A Crowd was selected to play at Anthology Film Archives in the New Filmmakers Series here in NYC. Shane produced and shot the comedy web series, Same Same But Different, in 2015, and recently completed his 2nd feature film, Above All Things, in 2016.

Shane Duckworth is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild . He has worked on major Hollywood films, TV shows and commercials including Terminator Salvation,  Robot & Frank, Breaking Bad, Project Runway, SNL, and Whiplash.

 

In 2012, Shane Duckworth started Brooklyn Movie Works, a small DIY production company and equipment boutique. Shane has focused he's efforts on directing comedy and enjoys shooting all genres.
